The Calendar
The 2025 wall calendar is bound with a white metal spiral and hanger. It measures 5.5" wide and 8.5" long and features 12 different garden herbs. Each page is a beautiful piece of art for your home. The calendars are professionally printed on heavy, coated paper.
The Inspiration
The inspiration for these pieces came from sitting in my favorite chair in the herb garden with my coffee on summer mornings.
I use herbs every day for cooking, medicinal uses, and for inspiration and decoration, so spending a good deal of time drawing them, and getting to know them better for this project was a highlight of my summer and fall.
The Art
A rustic watercolor wash on beautifully textured handmade paper provides a perfect backdrop to highlight the delicate botanical line drawings. The backgrounds were inspired by the colors and textures of the herb garden as it changed throughout the seasons.
The complete pieces are printed on heavy, white, coated paper for the calendar.
A calendar that speaks to your botanical loving self. You will want to hang on to this long after the year is over.
A note from Cara:
Each piece was inspired by the herbs I grew in my garden.
My hope is that this calendar is more like a beautiful piece of art for your walls. I created it with the intention that it would bring a sense of warmth and a connection to the natural world to your home.
